OUR PROJECTS
Our specialty is one-of-a-kind furnishings -- made just for you in South Dakota. We specialize in utilizing South Dakota products, including South Dakota granite, South Dakota hand-forged hardware, and South Dakota steer or buffalo hide inserts. Our goal is to make heirloom quality hardwood furniture utilizing hardwoods such as oak, maple, hickory, cherry, or walnut as well as pine, birdseye pine and cedar. We also add unique woods for accents, such as weathered barnwood, padauk, zebrawood or myrtle.
We also specialize in turn-of-the-century joinery, utilizing box or dovetail joints. Maybe you would desire through-tenon joinery? Or the addition of square nails or peg fasteners? Ask us.
Eldy does a remarkable job in the finishing room, building almost any color or texture of finish. (Actually he uses very little polyurethane during finishing.) It could be a crackle finish, a milk paint finish, or a high gloss hand rubbed finish. You name it, he'll do it for you, and you'll love it.
